Terms of service

Scope

These terms apply to video production services by ballons.ai and to the use of the client portal. Each project is also defined by its brief and the price confirmed in your portal.

Prices and payment

• Prices on our site (per second, or the monthly retainer) show what an order costs. The binding price is the one confirmed in your portal.
• Payment is split in two: a 50% deposit once you accept the price in your portal, before production starts, and the remaining 50% when you approve the final video, before the clean file is released.
• Previews shared for review carry a ballons.ai watermark. The clean, watermark-free file is released once the final payment has been received.
• Payments are made online and processed by Stripe.
• Prices are in EUR unless stated otherwise.

Your input

You confirm you have the rights to material you provide (logos, footage, text, music) and that we may use it to produce your video.

Revisions and timelines

• Each step (concept, storyboard and video) includes 2 revisions. Anything beyond that is agreed with you before it starts.
• Turnaround times start when the deposit has been received and depend on timely feedback.
• You approve the concept and the storyboard before we make the video. Other changes to the agreed scope (such as length) after production has started may be priced separately.

Usage rights

Ownership of and the right to use the final video pass to you once it has been paid in full; from then on you may use it commercially. Until then, previews may only be used to review the work. Licensed music and stock elements are subject to their licence terms. Source files are delivered only if agreed. We may show finished work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
